Off-Ear™ listening sends sound waves through the bones to your inner ears. During this mode of listening, the ear canal is left entirely free, so you can hear the music and everything around you at the same time.
Our Off-Ear™ mode of listening utilizes noise-ambient transduction. Conduction is one of two mechanisms through which you can hear, the other is air conduction. Off-Ear transducers cause the bones of the skull to vibrate, resulting in the direct vibration of fluid within the cochlea, which happens simultaneously but separately to sound waves travelling through the ear canal.
This is evident when you hear your own voice. Sound travels through the air to arrive at your ears, but you also hear the sound transmitted through the bones of the skull to the cochlea. This results in the difference of the sound quality when you speak compared to hearing a recording of your own voice.
We aim to create a world where you can better connect with your surroundings, your content and the people around you while maintaining an active lifestyle.
Our products facilitate this connection by applying leading technologies to your listening experience so you can stay safe and connected.

These are very impressive headphones. Great sound quality and can still here everything around me. The Bluetooth connection is strong, the signal goes through more walls and doesn't break up like other Bluetooth headsets will.
Works well when using them for a phone call. Very sleek look, charges very fast and battery last a long time. Only cons would be that they tend to move around on your head more than I'd like, and the volume up and down buttons are oddly placed. But i normally use my phones volume buttons anyways.

Terrific sound quality!
Kind of magical when you feel the sound vibrating through without going into your ear. Can hear perfectly what's coming out of the headphones as well as what's going on around you, e.g., conversations, or if you're for example biking, can hear traffic noises and be safe.

In the picture I'm including I'm wearing my
Conduit's WITH hearing protection and listening to my music while using my tractor to plow the 7 inches of snow on the ground while it was still snowing.
I loved that i could listen to my music without having my ears ring by the time I was done. Normally, even with a Bose noise canceling headset, my ears are ringing like I've just got out of a concert if i use earbud type headphones because i have to turn the volume up to finish blocking out the tractor sounds.
